Fundraising through Shopping
There are three great ways to shop and raise money for Co-Op in the Pines.
Combine all three into your regular shopping and you can maximize donations for our school.Scrip: The Easiest Fundraiser Ever
Have you ever heard of Scrip?
If you have, then you know what an easy and profitable Fundraising Program this is. If you are not currently using Scrip from any organization PLEASE, consider purchasing Scrip from the Co-Op.
If you have never used Scrip, nor even heard of it for that matter...
Here's How it Works...
Scrip is a "gift certificate" or "substitute money" purchased from participating merchants by non-profit organizations at a discount that averages 5%.
As a fundraiser, Co-Op then sells these certificates directly to you at their full face value - you pay nothing above the dollar amount of your Scrip...it is a dollar for dollar exchange.
Your participation in this program doesn't cost you anything!! If, for example you buy $100 worth of Stater Bros. Scrip, you will have your full $100 in Scrip to spend at Stater Bros. on whatever you want just like cash. At the same time you just made $5 for our school with out having to do anything except shop.
The money raised is actually being donated by the participating merchant in support of our community, and in an effort to encourage you to in their store or restaurant. This is a proven fundraising program used by many non-profit organizations across the country for many years.
The following Scrip is available from the Scrip Coordinator, all other must be ordered.

eScrip
How can you earn unlimited amounts of money for the Co-op without spending extra money (or more than 5 minutes)? Sign up for eScrip! It’s simple, and once you’re signed up it doesn’t require any financial or time commitments. eScrip does not sell your name or address, nor do they bug you with any mailings. They simply donate a percentage of your purchases at Vons, PepBoys, American Airlines and other participating merchants to our school. Once a year eScrip will mail you a statement with the amounts contributed to your designated school(s). eScrip also allows you to designate more than one school for contributions. If your child(ren) attend BBMS, BBHS or college please make your contributions to BVCNS, as these schools don’t participate in eScrip.
